On June 14th 1998, Michael Jordan secured his sixth NBA title with the Chicago Bulls after drilling a picture perfect game-winning jumper over Utah's Bryon Russell in Game 6 of the '98 NBA Finals.

Next June will mark the 20th anniversary of MJ's "Last Shot" and Jordan Brand has plans to commemorate the occasion by re-releasing the black and red Air Jordan XIVs that were on His Airness's feet that night.

The "Last Shot" Air Jordan XIV, which originally debuted during the second half of Game 5 of the NBA Finals, will be one of a few Air Jordan XIVs to release in 2018, including the beloved white/red "Candy Cane" colorway.

As we're still 10 months away from the official 20th anniversary of Jordan's game-winner over Bryon Russell, release details and images of the 2018 "Last Shot" XIV have not yet been revealed but you can expect them to drop right around, or possibly exactly on, June 14th.

The kicks were retroed in 2005 and released most recently in 2011. A similar black/gold Air Jordan XIV released earlier this Summer as part of the Air Jordan 13/14 "Championship Pack," which also paid tribute to Jordan's sixth ring, but it wasn't the same as the original that Jordan wore.

Take a look at the 2011 "Last Shot" Air Jordan XIV in the gallery above and stay tuned for more future Air Jordan release dates.
